The thing with Mark is that he only ever turns up in the casino and not until after the point where the plot requires you to be at the casino. So to see him at all you need to be wandering around looking for puzzles later on in the game. I didn't see him at all for ages. xD But from what I remember of him (desperately need to replay the first three games...) he was a pretty cool guy. Constantly annoyed about losing his money there. XD
I'm pretty sure I saw him once on the play-through I just finished; because I was surprised. I was like "hey, I've never seen you before--wait, you're that guy who was in London Life and I had no idea who you were!" XD We need to investigate him now.
I like how they included a character in London Life who most players probably just bypast. xD There were a few on London Life that I admit to maybe not remembering on first glance too. When I bother to do a playthrough on these games (if ever) I'll be sure to dedicate a lot of commentary to Mark.
Yeah, it's hard when there's such a huge cast of obscure characters who are just there to give you puzzles. I thought Misha was a guy in London Life until I replayed the game she was in. Or was it the other way around? XD
It's easy to get genders and ages confused with some of these characters. Gemma thought that random Japanese tourist in Spectre's Call was a guy for most of the game as well. And I thought that Paige from the Lost Future was a dude. ...Apparently we have a lot of manly women in this series. XD
It'll mostly end up being about how Gambling Is Bad Kids.
